Any Amount – The Garden

The Garden is a special group of individuals who give monthly contributions because they want every person to have: hope, food security and the dignity to provide for their families. Garden Members want to change lives by empowering others. We teach people to garden instead of just giving them a meal. Join The Garden today.

$5 – Cultivate the Seedlings for a Garden Box

Help someone get started. Cultivate the seedlings for a garden box. Give $5 and help someone begin the process of lifting themselves out of poverty. Give $5 once or sign up to be a member of The Garden, our exemplary community of monthly givers and give $5 every month.

$25 – Cultivate Follow-Up Visits

More than 90 percent of the garden boxes placed by Cultiva are still active today. The secret to our success? Lots and lots of follow-up. Give $25 as a one-time gift or sign up to be a member of The Garden, our exemplary community of monthly givers and give $25 every month.

$100 – Cultivate a Garden Box

Learn, Earn, Follow-up. That’s the Cultiva Way. When you give $100 you provide 10 hours of training where someone learns about gardening and self-sufficiency and earns their own garden box and then a year of follow-up visits and mentoring. Give $100 as a one-time gift or sign up to be a member of The Garden, our exemplary community of monthly givers.

$500 – Be an Emergency Responder

Every day we see emergency needs come up. These are acute needs on top of chronic problems. Even in wealthy countries, there are people who face crises that come up. But what happens when a crisis happens on top of chronic poverty? Be an Emergency Responder to help us address those needs with our Emergency Responder Fund. When we can meet an immediate need that provides an opportunity for us to come in and begin developing a deeper, more lasting, more impactful relationship.

$6,000 – Be a Village Mentor

People are programs. Did you know that for $500 a month or $6,000 a year we can hire a full-time employee? That covers everything. Salary and benefits and all taxes and fees in Guatemala — and it’s a really good job! When we hire a new mentor, we change that person’s life and they are able to better provide for their own family, but that’s just the start. A village mentor will train and mentor hundreds of other families. People are programs. Be a Village Mentor with an annual gift of $6,000 or a monthly gift of $500.

$10,000 – Be a Village Partner

We have entire villages in Solola, Guatemala who are waiting for help. Long lists of people who are ready to begin training programs with Cultiva so they can earn their own garden box. A village mentor is ready to serve these communities, but a Village Partnership equips that person and gives them the resources they need to serve. Be a Village Partner with an annual gift of $10,000 or a monthly gift of $834.

Founder’s Circle:

Founder’s Circle is a special group of Culitva supporters who commit to giving $5,000 or more annually through either a one-time gift or cumulative recurring giving. Founder’s Circle members are invited to an exclusive week-long event in Guatemala with Cultiva International Leadership every year.

Legacy Society:

The Cultiva Legacy Society includes individuals and families who have included Cultiva International in their estate plans. You can include Cultiva in your will, make Cultiva a beneficiary of a trust or life insurance, or use other estate planning vehicles for supporting Cultiva.

You can directly give stock or another appreciated asset to Cultiva International.
